I picked up this adorable navy eyelet romper at a boutique in Denver days before we left for our trip. Funny enough the boutique was actually started by fellow Denver blogger Denver Darling. Their stuff is soooo cute and well priced too!
I love summer! But I am starting to crave the boringness of winter when we become little homebodies and are always in full on chill mode. Summer has just been so go, go, go and I’m ready for a vacation… yet every weekend is a vacation! Seriously, I can’t complain but sometimes I wish everything would just pause so I could blog, clean the house and binge a Netflix show or two… is that so wrong?! How do you chill out amongst all the fun of summer?
P.S. These leggings are from prAna and right now you can get 15% off any full priced item with code PSCMS18. This pullover is actually from Amazon and I know I will be ordering a few more for fall.
Bergamo would have never been on my list of towns to visit, but I am so happy we got to spend time in this adorable walled city. A dear friend from college moved to Italy years ago and fell head over heels with a Venetian man. They got engaged in this tiny little town and decided it was the perfect place to tie the knot. My three best friends from college and their husbands/fiancé all made the trip to Bergamo, and we had the most amazing time!
Who says I don’t love my followers?! I have teamed up with some other bloggers to giveaway $400 to Nordstrom. Perfect for that last summer vacation, back to school or just wait and blow it all on boots this fall!
My last few weeks have been totally crazy… in the best way possible! Trips, OKR planning, parties, wedding planning, dress shopping, parents in town, biking all over and discovering our neighborhood pool! It’s been a world wind of fun. And honestly, this has been the least planned, least eventful part of summer. I am about to kick off 6 weeks of nonstop travel — yay!! There is so much to do and so little time to do it!
Five Minute Journal – I used to journal when I was younger and I have read over and over again about the benefits of journaling and knew I wanted to start up again. I also had heard and read a lot about having a more purpose driven journal – like a blessing or gratitude journal. One day on Amazon (surprise) I came across the Five Minute Journal, and after a little reading, I decided to take the plunge with this one. Just a few minutes in the morning to set intentions and plan and in the evening to reflect. So far I have loved it! I even bought the companion app so I could continue when I didn’t have the book. Do you journal? I’d love to hear about it!
Podcast of the Week – I love love love Marie Forleo and really enjoyed this chat with Dan Buettner on the Blue Zones of happiness. A very different perspective and actually kind of the opposite of my daily journalling philosophy!
