This weekend I will experience a few first. I will “run” my first 5k for Alzheimer’s, and I will attended my first… well I am not even sure what to call it. EatDenver is throwing a party, and not just 1 party but 7 parties. Each one a unique culinary experience featuring the best chefs Denver has to offer. As I perused the Harvest Week list of meals, I knew the “Praise the Lard” brunch was a match made in heaven. Not only is Brunch my favorite (and the best) meal of the day, this brunch involves a “Bacon Hoe Down” and an open bar.
If for some bizarre reason Bacon Hoe Down’s are not your thing, there are other foodie options to choose from like the Urban Bounty Vegetarian Feast, Platt River Laua Pig Roast or Grains vs. Grapes. Can’t decide? Take a look at the ridiculous line up of chefs from Linger, Tag, Snooze, Root Down, Trillium and Pinche Taco. All meals will be served at the GrowHaus an urban garden and marketplace. The only thing you need to bring is your own serve wear. Yep, your own bowl, plate and silverware, everything else is taken care of for you. Plus all of the events have an open bar!
