Isn’t this video amazing! I would love to explore the Canadian Rockys and see the Northern Lights. Lucky for me, I have all of Colorado to explore. My spring and summer are starting to get packed with concerts (Yahoo Phish Announced Tour) and weddings. I know every free weekend will be spent in the mountains. I hope to add a few more 14’ers to the list (read about my first one here), learn to fly fish and go whitewater rafting. But I am trying not to get to ahead of myself. I still need a job… resume here 🙂
What are your plans for the weekend? Celebrating St. Paddy’s Day – I sure hope you are!
– I heard a really interesting piece on NPR this week about the store Zara and the Founder Amancio Ortega, you know the 3rd richest man in the world… NPR also did a piece on “Fast Fashion” like H&M and Forever 21, totally worth the read or listen.
– Spring is just around the corner! How do I know? Pinterest, duh. Sun dresses, sandals and bathing suits are now every other pin. Check out my Spring Style board for inspiration!
– Over the past 3 months I have been checking off my “to learn list” with classes like InDesign, HTML, UX design and even Google Adwords. All the things I wanted to learn, but never had the time for. If you have a “to learn list” or maybe a Pinterest full of DYI projects or a new recipes, stop thinking about it and try it! You wont regret doing it, trust me.
For Design/Tech classes in the Boulder/Denver area checkout Visual Persuasion Classes and the Boulder Digital Arts for great classes on a variety of topic. Out of state. try Ledet or ONLC. However, my new favorite is Dabble, a great startup based in Denver and Chicago where you can learn anything, but more on that next week!
-Oh Yea Hautlook is having a ridiculoius sale. $75 jeans like Sevens and Habitual, outerwear under $50, activewear and more! If your not a member, you need to be! Join Here
– My besties Ashley, over at the Yuppie Hustle, is headed to Haiti to check kids eye site and fit them with proper glasses. Why does children’s eyesight matter? Because 80% of what children learn comes through their eyes. Help Ashley in her trip by purchasing one of these awesome t-shirts she designed. Learn more here.
