I love Colorado but If I could move to Santa Barbara, I would in a heartbeat. My college friends and I made the trip to Santa Barbara for our sorority sisters wedding at the Bacara Resort & Spa. When we arrived we met the wedding party for wine tasting party in the wine cellar complete with giant cheese plates – my heaven.
After wine we headed to dinner at the resort’s restaurant, The Bistro. We ate alfresco by in the beautiful night air. When the temperature did dip a little lower we all got cozy blankets to keep us warm.
Saturday morning we headed into Santa Barbra to find brunch. A friend recommended we try Jeannine’s Cafe and it was perfect. Alfresco dining (again!) in a beautiful quart yard. All of us over ordered and enjoyed every last bite of our meal.
That afternoon we sipped cocktails and soaked up the sun by the resort pool. I wish we had another day just at the pool to hang in the big cabanas and swim.
The wedding was held at The Bluff overlooking the beautiful California coast. After the ceremony, we headed to a cocktail reception complete with mariachi band and blood orange margaritas.
The reception was held in The Rotunda and was drop dead gorgeous.Literally, this wedding looked like it was out of a Bridal Magazine. Liz and Jeff thanks for having us we had an amazing time!
