This post is super old – most find it from this cute cover up. The site is now defunct so here are some similar cover-ups
Happy Thursday! Today’s post is from the fabulous InstyleSwimwear! A one stop shop for all your beach trip needs – stylish swimsuits, cover ups and accessories. Bellow are a few of my favorite looks from InstyleSwimwear too!

One of the most frequent questions we get here at InStyleSwimwear.com is how to look glamorous while you’re at the beach! In addition to having confidence, you can nail the beach glam look by choosing certain swimwear, cover-up and accessory styles over others. Read on and get ready to wow!
In terms of swimwear, nothing screams beach glamor like rich luxe solid styles with bold embellishments. Think little black bikinis with gold-plated hardware, crisp white swimsuits with eye-popping turquoise beading or emerald green swimwear styles with chic leather details. But if you’re a print girl like me, look for classic and more sophisticated prints and patterns such as leopard prints, chevron stripes and artsy brushstroke patterns.
In addition, you’ll also need some fashion-forward swimwear cover-ups to make your grand and glamorous entrance! Forget the safe t-shirts and shorts and go for kaftans with billowy sleeves. For something a bit simpler, try tunics with drapey silhouettes. Finally, if you’re looking to transition your swimwear look from beach-ready to beach bar-ready, go for sleek and sexy maxi dresses—perfect for all body types!
But looking glamorous at the beach isn’t all about the swimwear and cover-ups. A girl’s got to have her accessories too! Instead of big totes, try more elegant beach bag styles, such as straw clutches. Also, go for some statement jewelry to complement your swimwear, such as a pair of earrings or a beaded wrap bracelet—just be careful not to overdo it! Finally, it’s time to get out of your comfort zone and trade in your old baseball hat for a dramatic floppy hat! Très chic!
I’ll leave you with one last piece of advice. Sunburn is not hot and does not make for a glam beach look, so don’t forget the sunscreen 🙂
